Dawn Charleston-Green is originally a native of Mansfield, Louisiana but has resided in Georgia for over 20 years.

Dawn is a wife, mother, daughter, friend, U.S. Army Veteran, and Christian minister. Dawn leans on both her personal and professional experiences as she dedicates her energy to providing valuable and inspirational content, conversations, support, and resources centered around the concerns that matter most to the experiences of the adult woman.

With a background in education and counseling, Dawn empowers women through her blogs, published books, live sessions, mentoring, and coaching strategies.

“In 2019, after weathering through a tumultuous season in my personal life as a mother and in my career, I prayed and fasted for God to clarify what He was calling me to. You see, I knew that no matter where the road of life had me with its speed bumps and detours. . . God would never bring me into anything He would not use for my good and His glory. As He began to speak to me, He brought me to Luke 22:31-32.”

Dawn’s personal journey is marked by strength, resilience, creativity, and purpose.

Today, she is the founder and CEO of Dawn of a New Day 365, LLC. The DND365 movement focuses on women journeying through everyday life –the good, the bad, the ugly, and the unexpected: overcoming with TRUTH and TRANSPARENCY, in a way that leads to TRANSFORMATION.

Despite any difficulties she’s met in her marriage, as a parent, professionally, or in her faith, Dawn leads by example. She provides support and resources for women navigating life’s challenges. Her commitment to her Christian faith shines through in her service as a minister, thought leader, influencer, and mentor, both in her writing and community involvement.

Dawn Charleston-Green is now a 15-time award-winning author. As a children’s book author, Dawn shares her passion for literacy and storytelling through engaging Author Visits, inspiring students to embrace reading, build self-esteem, and achieve their goals. Her Lexile®-rated books make her presentations both impactful and aligned with measurable literacy growth goals.

Building upon her own journey of success and deep understanding of the publishing process, Dawn now empowers aspiring and established authors to achieve their self-publishing goals. Through her proven methods, she helps them strategize intentional plans to navigate the author space with confidence, intentionality, and authority.

Dawn’s identity is shaped by her roles as a writer, speaker, mentor, and minister, reflecting a commitment to authenticity and empowerment.

The DND365 platform provides content on topics unique to the female experience, such as marriage, parenting, faith, infertility, grief, and mental health. All of which are personal to Dawn’s own experience.

She and her husband of 20 years are the Senior Leaders of the ROCK Ministries, Inc. where their mission is to Reach and Restore Others for Christ’s Kingdom through Biblical truths, outreach, and in-reach. As part of this mission, they offer morning and evening prayer sessions, and Dawn facilitates both in-person and virtual women’s gatherings designed to foster faith, resilience, and connection.
