This book is absolutely phenomenal!!! The detail and the information regarding the Dandelion were so in depth and well thought out! While reading the conversation with Ana and her mother, it made me reflect on some conversations with my 12-year-old daughter regarding self-esteem.
As the author Dawn always says, “it’s a children’s book because of the illustrations, but the message is not elementary!” I gave my daughter the coloring book and I can appreciate that it gives her an opportunity to shift her focus from the internet and phone and actually think about someone and something she can relate to!
I recommend EVERYONE purchases this book bundle; I bought extra to give to other girls I know!
